Up for auction, we have a FANtastic...and INCREDIBLY RARE TO FIND!!!!...Vintage Toko, Swiss Ski School Team, 1988 World Expo, Brisbane Australia, Commemorative Team Warm Up shirt , size men's large, Made...likely...in Switzerland.  The measurements are as follows:
26" across the chest from armpit seam to armpit seam
25" total sleeve length from cuff to top shoulder seam
20" total sleeve length from cuff to arm pit seam
28" total length from top of collar down back to bottom hem.
If you are a serious Skiing/Ski Equipment/Ski Memorabilia aficionado/collector then here is a really terrific item for you!!!  This is a warm up shirt made for the Swiss Ski Team that was part of a representative party for the Country of Switzerland at the 1988 World Exposition Exhibition held in Brisbane Australia.
The World Expo 88, also known as Expo 88, was a special exposition fair held in Brisbane, the state capital of Queensland, Australia, during a six-month period between Saturday, 30 April 1988 and Sunday, 30 October 1988, inclusive. The theme of the Expo was "Leisure in the Age of Technology".
So this now 31 year old shirt, was created as part of the uniform...and likely also for sale to the general public...for the Swiss Ski Team when they were at this World Expo representing Switzerland.
There is no brand or production tag in this shirt...but I think it may have been made by Swiss company Toko...but there is a fabric ID tag that shows that the shirt is a Cotton/Polyamid knit, and the name Cotton is spelled "Baumwolle" on this tag, which is German for Cotton, and German is one of the main languages spoken in Switzerland, so my guess is that this shirt was also made in Switzerland.
So if you are a collector of all things super cool and unusual in the world of "Skiing" memorabilia...here is a truly cool and super rare shirt to add to your collection.  Not many of your friends and fellow Skiing memorabilia collectors/enthusiasts are ever going to have one of these!!!

the actual physical measurements of this shirt indicate that it is very much in line with being
a men's large size
. It is a very lightweight and flexible shirt so it could also likely fit a man who is a very thin, fit, and trim build in the body, and who wears a men's extra large size.
