This eBay listing is for a used vintage Hoover upright vacuum cleaner that comes just as you see pictured in the listing and noted above.   I just tested this out and the motor runs nice and smooth and has good suction as well .... BUT.... I'm not sure how to test out the other features.  I left the used bag inside so that the new owner will know what type of bag it uses and how it's installed.    It shows that it's self propelled but on the hardwood floors in my office, it just glides over them and doesn't go on it's own.   Also, there is a button on the top that allows the handle to move up and down with about 1" of travel and I can see on the front of the vacuum cleaner that something moves but I can get the button to go down but once I vacuum, the forward and backward motions causes the handle to move and it unlocks.   I'm not sure what that button should be doing but I don't think it's working and the self propelled isn't working either it appears.   Selling this as-is only with no returns.   The overall condition looks to be very good for it's age.
SHIPPING NOTE - In order to keep the shipping costs down for my buyers - this will be taken somewhat apart so that it will fit inside a smaller sized box.
I just picked up 50+ vintage vacuum cleaners from a local collectors estate and will have more on eBay at this time as well!!    Some of the collection dated back to the early 1900's!!   Please note that they were all sitting in storage for a number of years so they will need a little cleaning and dusting off.
