ROSSIGNOL Boys Sz 14 Taupe/Tan Ski Jacket

Description

This ROSSIGNOL Boy's ski jacket has so many desirable features; I hope I can remember them all!  The closure is a full length, orange zipper supplemented with 5 hook and loop (Velcro) strips.  At the top is a protective tab to prevent "chin bites".   A short, vertical orange zipper closes the roomy left chest pocket.  Inside, the right side has a mesh pocket, the left a protective holder for ID (Photo5).  The outside pockets have protective flaps and both zip closed.
There is an inner protective band with two snaps in front and elastic in the back to block wind and snow and assure a snug fit.  The hemline has an adjustable elastic cord also.   Photos 4 and 5.
The hood is a part of the coat (as opposed to a button or zip on) and has a Velcro adjustment strip on the top.  It has a small visor for additional protection and is fully lined as shown in photo #8.
The sleeves are shaped for comfort.  Photo #9 shows this styling feature and if you use the photo enlargement feature, you can see the subtle stripe of the fabric.
As noted above, one cuff has some damage.  I applied "Fray-Check", which does just that, to the area and have shown a before, after and concealed-by-the-Velcro cuff strap photos as I want to show this coat honestly.  I consider this a minor blemish compared to the quality and condition of the rest of the coat, but have priced it with that in mind.  I kinda think of it like a new car..... no one wants to put the first blemish on it.....but this has been done, and having raised a son and watched 5 grandsons and two greats pass this size, I don't think it will be long before they add blemishes from their own pleasures.
