this auction is for one of the best sounding audiophile decks ever made. this is the mcintosh mx4000 cd player and it
comes with the dc/dc converter and harness. it has been refurbished which includes any caps that need to be replaced,
the whole cd mechanism is gone through with a new laser and any other parts and it is all lubed as well.
the dc/dc converter has been recapped and resoldered. if you want the trim pieces that will be 150.00 more.
these all need refurbishing since they are up to 27 years old.
the pictures show the condition. i brighten some photos to show all defects if any.
this has a japanese tuner and will not play u.s. stations.
this is the 2000.00 radio that pairs with the mda4000 which i don't have. you need that for the deck to put out
sound using the cd player. this is an extra i had lying around. the face is cracked on the right side. it is not that bad
once it is installed.
