Charming Kosta Boda Sweden "Dolam" Primitive Design Platter - Goran Warff

Description

Up for your consideration is a large Kosta Boda (of Sweden) platter or serving dish in the primitive Dolam design by Goran Warff. The platter depicts 3 men seated at a table with plates and glasses in front of them. There is a man at one end and a woman at the other end of the table sitting in elaborate chairs. Around this central image, there are large flowers (possibly sunflowers) with elaborate stems. The woman's dress has a similar flower on it. The top of the platter is smooth; the design appears in relief on the back. The left and right-side edges are slightly curled up, perhaps to ease in carrying this serving dish.
The platter measures about 13 inches round, and it weighs 4 pounds, 14 3/4 ounces.
The platter is in great vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are some scuff marks on the raised right-hand lip of the platter and one small mark towards the bottom center (see the last 2 photos).
