    Description

This listing is for a pair of Kosta clear glass pitchers in Mid Century or Danish Modern style, made in Sweden.  The large pitcher still has the decal from the factory on the outside wall near the base, but I can't find an etched mark on either piece.  The larger pitcher held 4 pints of water so it may be 2 quarts or 2 liters.  It stands 7 1/2 inches tall with a 6 1/2 inche diameter base.   The small pitcher is 5 inches tall with a 4 3/4 inch base.    These pitchers are in very good condition.  The large one has been barely used, and the small one has wear to the base and some light cloudiness to the glass.  I haven't tried to clean either one except rinsing with water.  There are no chips or cracks.  All of my items were found in estate sales and cleanouts on Cape Cod last summer.  None of the items have been touched by the public since then, just stored in totes.  Anything purchased in the last two months has been thoroughly washed.  I am in a low risk area this winter and I am observing all precautions for virus protection.
I use Standard Mail, First Class Mail, and Media Mail whenever possible to save you money on shipping, and I will combine items in the same box to save you money on shipping. I use foam peanuts and bubble wrap when necessary, and I use recycled products most of the time, including sturdy used cardboard boxes when I can find them.  This package will be shipped by Standard Mail.   I sell quite a bit on eBay and I get a discount for Priority Mail, especially on smaller parcels and packages going to the NE quarter of the country, so don't be surprised if it comes Priority - the discount usually makes the price the same as Standard Mail.  That way it's insured and faster, too.
