The Model A was the first Ford to use the standard set of driver controls with conventional clutch and brake pedals, throttle, and gearshift. The Model A’s fuel tank was situated in the cowl, between the engine compartment's fire wall and the dash panel. It had a visual fuel gauge, and the fuel flowed to the carburetor by gravity. The Model A was the first car to have safety glass in the windshield.
Competition to this Ford in 1930 included Chevrolet’s AC International Series Coach, Dodge’s Six Series DA Coupe and Oakland’s All American Six Series 212, among many others.
This car would be ideal for any Classic Ford collectors, pre-World War II auto enthusiasts, or even someone seeking a rolling billboard for a small business. Stop by MotoeXotica Classic Cars today to get a good look at the car that everyone had to have at the end of the Roaring ‘20s.
